Snickers Trifle
Ingredients:
1 box devil's food cake or our recipe for devil's food cake; 1 container Cool Whip; one 3.4 ounce box of instant Jello pudding; 1/4 cup peanut butter; 1/4 cup caramel sundae topping; one bag miniature Snickers bars
DIRECTIONS:
Bake cake according to directions on box or follow our recipe (see link above). Allow cake to cool completely. Cut cake into small squares and place in the bottom of a large trifle dish or mini trifle bowls. Prepare the pudding according to package directions. Stir in peanut butter and caramel sundae topping. Place pudding layer over the cake layer. Break several mini Snicker's bars into pieces and place over the pudding layer. Place another cake layer over the top of the Snicker's pieces. Top with Cool Whip. Garnish with additional mini Snickers bars, broken into pieces. Makes one large trifle or 8 mini trifle dishes. (Will probably have 1/4 cake left over. But that's never a bad thing! Use remaining Cool Whip as a frosting for remaining cake.)
